More than 85 volunteers plan & coordinate various Wings fundraising events in order to raise funds & to promote increased awareness & support for Wings Foundation. Text Box: The National Executive Committee, also staffed by a group of American Airlines Flight Attendant Volunteers, is focused on all aspects of the regulatory and financial operations of the Wings Foundation. They report directly to the Board of Directors in reaching & maintaining established guidelines & financial goals. The Volunteer Board of Directors establish the operating guidelines & financial goals of the Wings Foundation & assist the Wings local base volunteers in providing Wings Assistance & case work, all the while ensuring that established policies & guidelines are frequently reviewed & understood. Text Box: There are committees of WINGS Volunteers at each American Airlines Flight Attendant base. They generously donate their time & talent’s to organizing and hosting fundraising events, reviewing and administering applications for Wings assistance & by becoming a friend to promote the Wings Foundation.
