The Wings Foundation is overseen by 5 Officer Directors, governed by an 18 member panel of Term Directors & staffed by an all Volunteer Force of more than 85 American Airlines Flight Attendants & Employees.
The Officer Directors are largely focused on all aspects of the regulatory & financial operations of the foundation & they report directly to the Term Directors. The annually elected Term Directors establishe the operating guidelines & fiscal goals of the foundation. They also assist the local base volunteers in conducting case work & providing financial assistance to Flight Attendants in need, while ensuring that established policies & guidelines are frequently reviewed, understood & adhered to.
